Company History
In the early 1970s, Florio Cescolini, a skilled European woodworker, identified a market need for superior quality exterior doors. In response, Mr. Cescolini founded Royal Door Ltd. in 1975, crafting a new line of exterior wood doors meticulously within his artisan workshop, employing true mortise and tenon construction to cater to various styles and preferences. Pioneering the use of full thickness panels on exterior doors to combat Ontario’s harsh climate, Royal Door became an industry trailblazer, setting new standards for wood door construction.
As a part of the third generation, Royal Door Ltd. has evolved into Royal Door & Trim Supplies Ltd., expanding its offerings to provide a comprehensive service to clients. With this transition, Royal Door & Trim Supplies Ltd. continues to uphold the legacy of innovation and quality established by its founder.

Missionaries of the Poor
As part of their support in the international community, Royal Door has donated all the doors required for the construction of the Missionaries of the Poor orphanage in Kingston, Jamaica. Founded in 1981, the charity provides apostolic homes for the poor, the blind, the crippled, the mentally disabled, as well as street children and babies who have been abandoned by their families.
